These images - from a barrio in the Dominican Republic which I have visited since 1998 - are part of an ongoing photographic project intended to share the exuberant energy of the neighborhood. The density and lack of organization of the following portfolio is a reflection of the barrage on the senses experienced when walking through the tangle of streets, with lyrical and intimate moments interspersed amongst the frenetic activity.
